Spencer Baker

 Dr. Spencer Baker  is a distinguished Las Vegas pianist, conductor, and teacher. Spencer has been a soloist with several regional orchestras. He has performed nationally and abroad in the Southwest, Washington, D.C., Disneyland, CA, Niagara Falls, Montreal, Italy, and China. Dr. Baker is currently Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at the UNLV School of Music. In addition he is in his eighth season with the International Opera Performing Experience in Mercatello sul Metauro, Italy, as faculty pianist, teacher, and coach.

He is the principal pianist for UNLV Opera Theater and Vegas City Opera.  This year Spencer was the guest artist-in-residence and soloist at the Truman State University 40th annual piano festival and maintains an active teaching and performance career.  He is a Liberace scholar and professional competition winner, serves on the State Board of the Nevada Music Teachers Association and is Faculty Advisor to their collegiate chapter, UNLVMTA.
